What to Expect at Your First Appointment?
When you arrive at your first appointment, new patients will be greeted by one of our friendly staff members, who will request your completed health history forms. You can either complete this brief paperwork at your initial visit, or you can fill it out ahead of time by downloading it from our easy links which you can find below. It can also be emailed to you prior to your appointment. After your completed paperwork is collected, you will then have a consultation with one of our chiropractors to determine if we are able to help you. Your first visit should last about 30 minutes (plus time for paperwork if it is not completed ahead of time), and will usually include:
- A conversation regarding your complete health history overview
- A thorough examination, including postural assessment and sEMG scan
- A discussion of your health goals and concerns
- Time to ask any questions you might have, and have them thoroughly answered
- If required, we can take digital X-rays right on site to get to the root of the concern.
Your first visit is a chance to discuss all of your options for treatment and have any questions you have thoroughly answered. Our goal is to make sure you are completely comfortable moving forward. Remember, your care plan is your decision! We will give you our recommendation based on your specific condition and your own health care goals, but it is always up to you to move forward with the care that works best for you.
